Amazing Things Happening in our Classes

4th Grade:

Our 4th graders have been doing a fantastic job in their classes.  They are making food webs, reading from Epic, working on division and creating poems.  

As you can see, the children have been busy working together, collaborating on projects and creating some great work.  They are learning about teamwork and cooperation in order to get things done.

We are even able to throw in a little art for them.  They do enjoy working with partners.  So much learning, and exploring.  

                                                                            

 

5th Graders

Our fifth graders have also been busy creating eBooks about the Rainforest

They have also reported out about various animals and layers of the Rainforest

They too are working together with partners, collaborating on projects and making decisions for their final product- the eBook they are creating.  I am very excited to see the presentations.  

Even if their partner is out for the day, we are setting up google meets so they can collaborate and work on the books together.  

As you can see, the children are very engaged in what they are working on.  It is great to see such cooperation with one another and listening to the conversations they are having.  Project based learning is happening throughout the Academy.  

Spring is surely all around us and giving us all a better feeling of things to come.  It almost feels like we are back to "normal" but we still have a way to go.  Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
