Welcome to 4th Grade!!

 

Hello and Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year!

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful summer.  I am ready to begin the new school year with a refreshed mindset.  

In the past few weeks I have been prepping the classroom so that it is ready for the first day of school.  There are changes taking place, such as the students will not be switching for the different subjects, there is new curriculum that we will implement and the room layout has also been changed to accomodate us in having a very conducive, safe, welcoming teaching/learning enviornment.  

It is hard to believe that school starts up on Tuesday.  The school looks awesome.  Our custodians have really been cleaning and organizing so much.  Summer really did fly  by and we are back to a routine in just a couple of days.

Here is a glimpse at what the room looks like.  Looking forward to meeting all my new 4th graders

I have been working in the classroom and at home to get things ready.  I feel confident that things are in place and we are good to go.  The first few weeks we will be doing many activities that will allow for me to get to know the children, as well as, they will get to know more about me.  

Tables are ready, this year the children will get planners to keep track of all their assignments. Areas in the room are set up for the individual content areas (Math, Science, ELA and Social Studies).  There is a calming corner, classroom library and student center all ready for the students to utilize.  We will be discussing procedures and routines on the first few days of school.  Enjoy the last few days of summer vacation.  So excited to meet everyone and get the year started.
