Good Morning- this week's blog is ready. I was away from my chrome book all weekend and am not ready with it. Once again, it was a week full of learning, and discovering. Take a look at what your child did over the past week.
Wonders:
We are progressing along nicely and read Ranita, the Frog Princess as our main story. It is a play, so the children really enjoyed acting it out and playing their parts.
The children collaborated, and worked together very nicely.
They were very excited to play their parts.
Math
We just finished up Unit 4 but the children seem to be grasping their multiplication facts, for the most part. They still need to practice the tables daily.
Research/Writing:
The children continue to research about their Native American tribes and presented nicely on Friday. Their use of the chrome book and finding resources is a skill that they have been developing throughout the year, as well as reading articles and taking notes.
Presentations/Social Studies:
The presentations of their Native American tribes of RI went really well on Friday. They projected their voices, informed us with many interesting facts and delivered their slides to the class in such a great way. They are very creative when putting together the slides.
Reminders:
On Wednesday, our Family Engagement committee will be hosting Books for Bingo at 5:30. If you are planning to attend, please consider making a canned good donation as an entrance fee.
PTO will hold their monthly meeting tonight at 6:00. I will post the link on class dojo.
