I hope everyone was able to have a great week off. I enjoyed not being on any particular schedule. My morning coffee and lounging paid off for me as I am refocused and recharged for the week ahead. I did not create a blog until today and want to share what we did the week before we left for our Winter Break.
Monday 2/9:
Two of our very own, Aylla and Joshua, competed in our first ever Math Bee. They gave it their all and we are so proud of them both.
We also started our week with Wonders and reading in our Anthology and Reading/ Writing companion book.
The children have also been learning about some prominent African Americans during this month.

Intervention block is a time for them to work on i-Ready minutes and catch up on some of the work they have. I also take up students individually to go over their lessons on i-Ready that they are having trouble with.
Tuesday 2/10:
Today we celebrated our 100th day of school. The children have come a long way since the beginning of the year.
We continued learning about fractions in Math and Wonders with a lesson on Pronouns. The children also took a quiz on Vision and Light in Science.
We also had some fun with Valentine arts and crafts.
